LifePort’s loading systems were originally developed to assist customers with loading patients into larger aircraft. Like all custom product lines, the loading systems then adapted and expanded into alternate missions and a variety of aircraft types.

The Air Stair Loading System lifts a wheelchair or stretcher-bound passenger into a large aircraft, when our standard fixed wing loading system will not suffice. This loading system is designed to be utilized either in conjunction with a custom medical interior or without it. The Air Stair Loading System can be delivered with storage cases that allow it to be transported easily in the aircraft’s baggage compartment.

While LifePort’s standard fixed wing loading system reduces lifting, the Powered Loading System (PLS) eliminates it. The PLS interfaces directly with the LifePort PLUS, and is compact enough to be transported with the aircraft.

Similar to other LifePort product families, our Loading Systems can be adapted to alternate aircraft types or customized to meet unique customer requirements.
